You Are Your Words

"The American Heritage® Dictionary invites you to create a self-portrait using your words." well who wouldn't! Check out http://www.youareyourwords.com/ and have a play. I took a photo with my web camera but the online program didn't let me adjust the eye/mouth levels properly (a tiny flaw in the program), however it still came out nicely using words from my twitter account.

A cute program that I could see so many fun uses for in the Primary Classroom (such as 'who are you?' session at the start of the year, students giving each other soft/warm feely words etc.. ). Any other ideas?

Wordle

Love playing with Wordle this morning and trying to think of some exciting ways to use this in the P-3 classroom; brainstorming results, twitter feeds/trending... other suggestions?
 Wordle: Digital Pedagogy

Tweet in haste, repent at leisure…

Tweet in haste, repent at leisure as Mr Fry so kindly puts it or perhaps it should read blog in haste and leave blog to turn to dust as I do other things more pressing in my life. I have, it should be stated, started many blogs only to forget about them or become too busy to follow up on them. However, having attended a great Professional Development course today on Web 2.0 tools I realise my folly and have quickly set up my new twitter account (old one forgotten) and new blog (couldn't locate the old one it was set up so many years ago) and began-a-fresh to try to organise my digital thinking on pedagogy.
