Handy apps for Australian teachers
Yesterday I stumbled up on a great app for teachers in Queensland the Queensland Schools App which allows you to search by school name, town or postcode, something that will prove invaluable while I'm relief teaching in and around South East Queensland.
Another useful app I found in my travels was the NSW Department of Education App, a useful little app for my son (grade 2) which has definitions and assignment help tools. I wonder if they will make a Queensland version? What I really need to find is a Qld Cursive practise tool for my son, which would also prove handy on the iPad that I take to classroom lessons and plug into the Smart Board.
